Often times you ask yourself what would you do without someone or something in your life.  Now ask yourself, what would you do without God in your life?  I have a challenging few weeks behind me now but I just keep asking myself; what would I have done differently, if I didn't have God in my life? Would I have been able to handle things the way that I have?  Would I still feel peace within my storms?  I know without hesitation that God is forever present, even when we turn our backs on him.  And me.... I couldn't have made it without him.
     We get into trying times and we forget where our help comes from.  Tomorrow is not promised to any of us and we live our lives just trying to make it day to day.  We often rush about the day forgetiing to thank God, forgetting to spend time with him, forgetting that his word says, he will never forsake us.  So if you have someone who's always there for you, always willing to listen; why wouldn't you turn to him before turning to your friend or family member?
    We all fall short, no one is perfect.  The one person who can say that he lived a perfect life, sits on the throne of God, interceding for each of us.  Where do you want to end up when your time comes?!
